Make a Report

We don’t handle reports or investigations but you can get help from several places if you have concerns about someone’s inappropriate behaviour around children online. Please see our list below for who you can make a report to:

Helplines

13Yarn is a crisis support line run by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It is a free and confidential service available 24/7 from any mobile or pay phone.
Call 13 92 76 (13YARN).

Bravehearts Information & Support Line Line is a toll-free phone service for those seeking advice or help related to child sexual abuse, including what to do if your child or someone you know has disclosed child sexual abuse.
Call 1800 241 826, 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday AEST (hours may vary on public holidays).

Kids Helpline is Australia’s only free 24/7 confidential and private counselling service specifically for children and young people aged 5 – 25.
Call 1800 55 1800.

Blue Knot Foundation Helpline is the National Centre of Excellence for Complex Trauma. It provides support, education and resources for the families and communities of adult survivors of childhood trauma and abuse.
Call 1300 657 380, Monday – Sunday between 9am – 5pm AEST or via email helpline@blueknot.org.au.

PartnerSPEAK provides support for non-offending partners, family members, friends, or anyone else who is affected by a person’s involvement in child sexual abuse and child exploitation material. Call 1300 590 589, chat online or access their forum.

1800RESPECT provides support for people impacted by domestic, family or sexual violence. Call 1800 737 732 (1800RESPECT) or chat online.

Lifeline provides 24-hour crisis counselling, support groups and suicide prevention services.
Call 13 11 14, text 0477 13 11 14 or chat online.

Concerned about your own thoughts or someone else’s thoughts towards children?

Stop It Now! Australia works with adults with concerns about their own or someone else’s sexual thoughts or behaviours towards children.
Call 1800 01 1800 or chat online Monday – Tuesday 10am – 2pm AEST/AEDT or Wednesday – Thursday 1pm-4pm AEST/AEDT.

Concerned about human trafficking, slavery or forced marriage?

If you or someone you know is in, or at risk of human trafficking or slavery, you can contact the Australian Federal Police (AFP) on 131 237 (131AFP) or go to the AFP website at www.afp.gov.au.

If you’re not comfortable contacting the AFP, you can contact Red Cross’ Support Program team for confidential advice (they are not able to enrol someone in the program without a referral from the AFP) by calling 1800 113 015 or send them an email national_stpp@redcross.org.au.
