Ritu Bhandari
Ritu has over 15 years of financial crime compliance and risk management experience, having held senior financial crime risk roles in banking and regulatory organisations. She is currently General Manager, Financial Crime at The Star Entertainment Group and was formerly the Head of Financial Crime Frameworks, Intelligence and Regulatory Affairs at Westpac Banking Corporation. Prior to that, she worked at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and The Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC). Ritu is a member of the Fintel Alliance Management Committee and plays a key role in financial crime risk industry forums.
Martin Ivanov
Martin is an experienced leader in banking and financial services, with over twenty years experience in compliance, risk and financial crime. He is the former Head of Global Financial Crime at Westpac Banking Corporation and was a non-executive director on ICMEC Australia’s board in 2023. Martin has since moved to the UK and is now the Group Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, Member of Management Board at EML.
Michael Reede
Michael has just completed a 33-year stellar career as a corporate lawyer. For the last 27 years, he has held partner positions between Sydney and Hong Kong at four of the world’s leading law firms, Gilbert + Tobin, Paul Weiss, Clayton Utz, and Allen & Overy. Michael has now retired and is enjoying time travelling. Michael kindly dedicated his time to the ICMEC Australia board from inception until January 2023.
