When ICMEC Australia launched in late 2021, we received funding from Westpac’s Safer Children, Safer Communities initiative to deliver a four-year program.
‘We are delighted to partner with ICMEC Australia as part of the Safer Children, Safer Communities program to foster industry collaboration and enhance the ability to detect and report suspicious transactions. Our four-year partnership has enabled ICMEC Australia to deliver data-driven approaches for financial services, law enforcement, government and NGOs to fight child sexual exploitation. As that funding term ends, we are pursuing financial support through corporate memberships, offering access to our cutting-edge CSE detection resources and tools, corporate awareness, and ESG programs. Additionally, we are seeking government funding and philanthropic donations to sustain our initiatives.
